A wonderful benefit of being in the Y-Guide & Princess and Trailblazers programs is the satisfaction that results in helping others. Through our good deeds and works many organizations and groups raise money and hope.
Below are many YGP partners in making ours a better community...

WeBuildPeople - "One Tribe, One Child" -
We Build People raises funds for families who can’t otherwise fully afford YMCA programs and services. Members of the Arapahoe Nation are encouraged to give so families less fortunate can benefit from a Y experience. "One Tribe - One Child" is a great place start - where a tribe's annual wampum is donated so a child can attend summer camp. Watch the WeBuildPeople campaign video here.

Brown Bag Ministry
The Brown Bag Ministry prepares and distributes 225 brown bag lunches to the homeless every Saturday at Moore’s Square in downtown Raleigh and they could use your help!
Brown Bag Ministry is once again providing Thanksgiving Meals to local families living in poverty. It is their hope that groups can help them reach our goal by providing 50 meals.
They are providing meals to many Hispanic families this year. In light of that they have adjusted the menu a bit. In place of potatoes, stuffing, and turkey we will provide rice, beans, and chicken.
