Service Projects

A wonderful benefit of being in the Y-Guide & Princess and Trailblazers & Trailmates programs is the satisfaction that results in helping others. Through our good deeds and works many organizations and groups raise money and hope.

Below are many YGP partners in making ours a better community...

Songs WeBuildPeople - "One Tribe, One Child" -

We Build People raises funds for families who can’t otherwise fully afford YMCA programs and services. Members of the Arapahoe Nation are encouraged to give so families less fortunate can benefit from a Y experience. "One Tribe - One Child" is a great place start - where a tribe's annual wampum is donated so a child can attend summer camp. Watch the WeBuildPeople campaign video here.

Pajama Pals: Helping Children One Night at a Time

Pajama Pals was started by a local family with the hope of helping children at the most basic level and let them know that someone out there cares that they are warm at night. Who doesn't like a new pair of pajamas? You can help a child who may have never even owned a pair of pajamas or a book of their own.

Donate NEW pajamas and/or books so they can be distributed to various shelters, foster homes, and social service agencies.
Get more information here.

Everyone hits. Everyone gets on base. And everyone crosses home plate. Won’t you consider getting in the action and helping a child play the greatest game of our nation’s history?
